TAG's Data Science & AI Society Presents: 'Innovator of the Year Awards & Poster Competition 2025'

The TAG Data Science & AI Innovator of the Year Awards highlight Georgia’s most impactful data and AI leaders. The program recognizes individuals and teams who advance analytics and AI through innovation, ethical practice, measurable outcomes, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

This year’s event also features a student poster competition, inviting undergraduate and graduate students to showcase research, applied analytics projects, and creative AI solutions. The competition provides a platform for emerging talent to share their work with leaders across industry, academia, and the broader data community.

Attendees will hear directly from the winners across all eight award categories, gaining insight into how these innovators overcame obstacles, navigated organizational challenges, and continued to push the boundaries of what data science and AI can accomplish in Georgia. Each category winner offers a unique perspective on the practical strategies and mindsets that drive meaningful and sustained innovation.

Nominees span sectors such as healthcare and life sciences, financial services, public and nonprofit impact, retail and consumer services, manufacturing and supply chain, media and entertainment, platforms and software, and more. Ideal nominees demonstrate pioneering spirit, leadership, adaptive learning, and a service-oriented approach that uplifts both teams and communities.

The event creates an opportunity for attendees to learn from top innovators, discover breakthrough student work, and connect with peers who advance the data and AI ecosystem across Georgia.
