GET INVOLVED - GEORGIA DIB TASK FORCE

The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) have partnered to form the Georgia Defense Industrial Base Task Force. The goal of the task force is to collaborate, provide webinars, and resources for Georgia’s 4, 000 defense contractors. GDEcD has a dedicated Project Manager to help defense contracting companies find economic development support services and expertise across a variety of topics, including CMMC.

The task force is divided into 4 committees:

1. Events: The goal of this team is to build awareness through both in person and webinar events.
2. Training: The goal for this team is to help members develop operational skills. This includes conversations with experts.
3. Academic Partnerships: The goal of this team is to help GA universities gain access to expert tools, personnel, academic credit opportunities, and curriculum development. This group also helps with industry associations.
4. Recruitment: The goal of this team is to help members fill jobs and to assist members in finding new opportunities.
