Logistics Society and Data Science & Analytics Society teamed up to
discussed where Big Data and Analytics were being applied in supply chain. Much
of the esteemed panel discussed disruptions globally. Little did the world
realize the most acute, global disruption would occur only months later with
COVID-19.
Six months after much of the US and world initially shutdown, supply chains have had to quickly adjust to our “new normal”. Data science and analytics are paving the way to help supply chains adapt—not only to current challenges, but in preparation for future disruptions.
