Mona is a Hands on Business Data Thought Leader& Storyteller. She is currently Principal on the Enterprise Adoption Services team at Collibra. Prior to joining Collibra, Mona spent 9 years with Accenture in their data business group and has delivered over 30 Data Governance deployments 

Mona began her career in private industry (Boeing, BCS, Micron, Lockheed, BP), before transitioning into the world of consultanting with Accenture. Mona is a published author and has deep ties into various data management professional organizations including DAMA, ICCP, PPDM and TOGAF. She has served on the ICCP Data Management Board, was Houston DAMA chapter president, and the Portland DAMA chapter vice-president. 

As a data governance thought leader, she regularly presents at conferences (DAMA EDW, MDM/DG summit, PPDM). She was an early adaptor in Data Governance discipline, and chaired the Boeing Commercial DG council in the early 90’s. 

Outside of work she enjoys the pacific outdoors including biking, water sports, hiking and gardening. She is married to Dr. Don, her high school sweetheart, and they have two adult children, Dr. Kyle a data scientist at PNL, and Alex a biology-environmental senior at WSU.
