TAG Smart Communities & Sustainability Society and TAG Infrastructure Society Jointly Present: 3rd Annual Infrastructure Review - Building a Sustainable State

Thursday, December 7, 2023 (7:30 AM - 9:30 AM) (EST)

Description

Join us for a morning listening to some of the leading experts in Georgia and networking with your Infrastructure & Sustainability colleagues as we host our 3rd annual Infrastructure review and outlook with a focus on how we are building a more sustainable state.

The U.S. government will spend more than $500 billion on climate technology and clean energy over the next decade under three significant infrastructure laws passed since 2021 (Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS Act, and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act). Together they form an unprecedented US industrial policy with a focus on strategic industries and a set of tools designed to accelerate production up and down the supply chain. Their programs have the potential to be transformational for Georgia in the areas of infrastructure, energy, decarbonization, and sustainability to provide large opportunities for Georgia organizations and companies of all sizes.

This is our 3rd annual Infrastructure outlook event and this year's focus is to both assess the current state and progress to date and look forward to the many opportunities and risks ahead.
